  1. The oil spill almost ruined my vacation. I was worried that the oil would make it to the beach we always go to but it didn't. It got within 100 miles of it, but it never made its way to our beach. I know that on Facebook alot of people were talking about how they couldn't go on vacation or to the beach because the beaches would be ruined. Alot of businesses lost customers and their profit went down. One positive thing was that since there weren't many people at the beach, it wasn't crowded like it usually is and everything was alot calmer.
